Built by a seller who got burned by "profitable"
Munavo comes from a UK online car-parts retailer selling on eBay and an own-brand store. Products that looked healthy — price well above cost — kept losing money once category fees, VAT bases and postage were counted properly.

The spreadsheet that became a product
The fix started as a private spreadsheet: every fee line, both directions of VAT, the real cost of postage, packaging and returns. It caught enough silent money-losers that it seemed wrong to keep it private. Munavo is that spreadsheet, rebuilt properly — with a versioned rate-card system, an automated test suite and a public accuracy page.
What Munavo stands for
- The free calculation is the real calculation. We never blur or degrade the maths to push you to Pro — Pro sells workflow, not accuracy.
- Every rate has a receipt. The Rate Centre shows the exact cards the engine uses and when each was verified.
- VAT is cashflow, not cost. Mixing the two is the single most common way sellers flatter their own margins — the engine refuses to.
Where it's going
2026 so far: the calculator with full UK, US and German eBay + Shopify rate cards; VAT handling for registered and non-registered sellers; saved products with pinned rates; eBay listing import. Next: deeper catalogue tools — comparisons, health dashboards and rate-change impact for the products you already sell.
